JISSER Internship Platform collaboration with “My Training” hosted the “How to Pass a Job Interview Workshop” on Monday 12/10/2015 as part of its participation in the career fair at Seeb International Exhibition Center.
Maher Al-Kindi, one of JISSER certified international trainers who continue to deliver free workshops to pay back to society, with the help of JISSER’s volunteers delivered the session in the seminar hall from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. It included several topics including the definition of an interview, the importance of appointments, calm and self-confidence, enthusiasm and professionalism and other important aspects that may contribute to refining skills of the student and the new graduate to undergo successful personal interviews.
Launched under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation and Chairman of Emirates Foundation, Emirates Award for the Arabian Gulf aims to foster a culture of entrepreneurship, in line with the National Entrepreneurship Strategic Plan and the Foundation’s socially driven mission by encouraging youth to develop innovative solutions and social enterprises that address society’s most pressing challenges. The award is open to Gulf nationals residing in the UAE, between the ages of 18 and 35, and are attracted to the idea of using profit for social good.
After trying for the second year in a row. JISSER Internship Platform improves its performance to finally be qualified as one of top 15 ideas competing for the prize. The top teams are invited for a week long bootcamp in october 2015 to receive specialized trainings and workshops aiming to move the ideas to the next stage.
